WASHINGTON (AP) — Madeleine Albright fled the Nazis as a child and climbed to the summit of diplomacy and foreign policy in the United States, breaking the glass ceiling as the first female secretary of state and setting the pace for other women to follow.

Marie Jana Korbel was born in Prague on May 15, 1937, the daughter of diplomat Joseph Korbel. The family was Jewish and converted to Roman Catholicism when she was 5. Three of her Jewish grandparents died in concentration camps. Albright later said that she only became aware of her Jewish background after she became secretary of state.

The family returned to Czechoslovakia after World War II, before fleeing again, this time to the United States, in 1948, after the communists rose to power. They settled in Denver, where her father obtained a job at the University of Denver.

What is Operation Paperclip?

In a covert affair originally dubbed Operation Overcast but later renamed Operation Paperclip, roughly 1,600 of these German scientists (along with their families) were brought to the United States to work on America’s behalf during the Cold War. The program was run by the newly-formed Joint Intelligence Objectives Agency (JIOA), whose goal was to harness German intellectual resources to help develop America’s arsenal of rockets and other biological and chemical weapons, and to ensure such coveted information did not fall into the hands of the Soviet Union.

That's how the Scherff family (I mean the Bush family) got to America.

Trump administration removes experts from Defense Policy Board -

(CNN)Several high profile members of the Defense Policy Board were removed on Wednesday by the Trump administration, in yet another purge of longstanding foreign policy experts and national security establishment figures in the final days of the Trump era, according to three defense officials.

Members who were suddenly removed include former Secretaries of State Madeleine Albright and Henry Kissinger, former ranking member of the House Intelligence committee Jane Harman and former House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, two of the officials said.

The Defense Policy Board is an outside advisory group of former high profile national security officials who "provide the Secretary of Defense and the Deputy Secretary of Defense, independent, informed advice and opinions concerning matters of defense policy in response to specific tasks from the Secretary of Defense, the Deputy Secretary of Defense," according to their website.

They say she died of cancer.

I call bullshit..she took the deal!

According to the New York Post:

Judge permanently blocks release of Bob Saget autopsy records

A Florida judge on Monday agreed to an order that permanently blocks the release of photos, video and other records connected to the investigation of Bob Saget’s death.

The permanent injunction, granted by Circuit Judge Vincent Chiu, had been requested by the comedian’s family.

The 65-year-old actor died on Jan. 9 after suffering “blunt head trauma,” likely from a fall backward, at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes in Florida, an autopsy has revealed.

Saget suffered a fracture at the base of his skull, fractures around his eye sockets, a cut to his scalp, and bleeding between the brain and tissue covering the brain, according to an autopsy report.

His death was ruled accidental and authorities have said there were no signs of foul play or drugs at the scene. There were no signs of illicit drugs or toxins in Saget’s body, according to a toxicology report.

That must have been quite a fall "poor Bob Saget" took.

Injuries to the base of the skull (back of the head); injuries to the eye sockets (front of the head); and injuries to the scalp. Sounds like a scene out of a slapstick comedy.
