Looks like a remake of an old movie that had an E. Reed as the starring actor. Nothing new here.

Did I hear this right: the town attorney is actually daring a town resident to take the town to court if he isn’t happy? Is that anyway to run a town?

Hey, Concerned Citizens is already taking half the town officials to court. Why not the rest of those corrupt mongrels?

We need to stop referring to the elected as 'officials' or 'leaders', and start correctly labeling them as 'public servants'. This will help shape the future, back to it's proper origin. If it offends any politician to be referred to as 'public servant', that would be the first indicator that they will not be right for the task. There's good reason why it's called 'public service' and not 'public leadership' when it comes to offices established within the Constitution; it's because those elected are mandated to work on our behalf, in the 'common interests' under explicit law, not to force us to their bidding. Get the message Mr. Tyksinski?

Madspartan,

We couldn't agree more!

If someone is not in it to give back to their community; they are probably in it for the wrong reason and no matter how much money they are being paid; it would never be enough; "they are legends in their own mind."

The board should take the recording from the last budget hearing where citizens spoke and play it back. What good did it do to come and speak at the last hearing.....no one listened and they did as they pleased......which they r obviously to going to do again....u go figure. Not one recommendation that was mentioned did they even take under consideration, i.e., employees have to start sharing the cost of healthcare ins. and considering contributions to their pension plan, and board should institute a 40-hour work week. Whatever was discussed fell on deaf ears!!! Town is run like a country club
