It's that time of year...

Did you notice the quote by Dan Gilligan at the bottom of the article in today's Observer Dispatch:
Some school districts in the area have not been able to predict the tax hike because of a pending state budget. But New Hartford does not depend heavily on the state budget figures for the district, Gilligan said.
Guess it is sort of like the fact that they do not depend heavily on the taxes from the New Hartford Business Park. Why should they, that's what the taxpayers are for, aren't they?

It makes one wonder why the school refuses to give Concerned Citizens a copy of the "real" budget. We can only imagine what we might find out!

I saw that too. Maybe they don't even need the state aid either? All the other school districts around here can use their money for sure

Wait till the tax bills fly again and see how much that statement helps the school.

Hey, what do you expect for a 150k a year? A genius?

Did anyone ever get the 1099's and W-2 payroll information from school officials?

Also, did the N.H. School District ever provide the detailed line-item budget and financials - by each school?

I am sure there are many who would love to read this information.
