THE WATER PROBLEMS WERE THERE BEFORE CONSUMER SQUARE. THE PROBLEM IS THAT SANGERTOWN NEEDS TO BUILD A HOLDING POND TO SLOW THE WATER DOWN. ALSO A LARGE HOLDING POND BEHIND PRESWICK GLEN NEEDS TO BE BUILT.

T\RE: "THE WATER PROBLEMS WERE THERE BEFORE CONSUMER SQUARE."

Yes, the MUD Creek water problems pre-existed Consumer Square. However, these same MUD Creek water problems did not pre-exist Sangertown Mall.

MUD Creek was around long before any Commercial building took place. Mother nature took care of any water problems through natural absorption. NEVER was there a problem with MUD Creek flooding as is being revealed in the pictures in this blog.

It is the Town of New Hartford's elected officials, including Zoning Board and Planning Board Officials who ALLOWED this to happen.

"Excise" the cancer and the Town can prosper...allow the cancer to grow and we have a certain death wish for all town residents, especially, those whose homes have repeatedly been damaged through constant flooding in and near the MUD Creek area solely because of Town negligence and GREED!

Incidentally, Consumer Square further compounded and aggravated the MUD Creek flooding.
