Sometimes A Picture....

is worth a thousand words!

See that broken blue line with an arrow to the gas meter...if you look closely, you will notice it follows the path of yellow flags right to the gas meter on the backside of the Kellogg Road Center. Those would be the little yellow flags used by Niagara Mohawk to signify where a gas line exists prior to any construction taking place.

Councilman Robert A. Payne, III announced at the October 24, 2007 town board meeting that closing Kellogg Road Community Center for the winter months was necessary to save utility costs.

Is there a connection?

Sometime back in 2006 was this Councilman Payne's idea of saving the Town monies on utility costs?

Looks to me like the Town is planning to DEMOLISH this building and more.

Also, where are the 1800 people who vote from the Kellogg Road Community Center going to vote in February 2008?

Did someone forget the 2008 Presidential Primary? Oh, I forgot...New Hartford is run by a REPUBLICAN outfit.

I am not sure, but isn't this an historic building? I was under the impression that was an old train station. If so.......

Supervisor Reed said that he checked with the Historical Society and it is not a historical building.

Maybe some with more information can write to us.
